Hi, I'm Ithiar.
I am a photographer originally from Spain, and currently located in Fairfax, Virginia. I have a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a concentration in photography from George Mason University (GMU).
I have been working and collaborating with fellow artists to define my own style and make my own business.
Due to the area I live in, I primarily work with digital photography in events/weddings and studio portrait photography to be able to master all types of light forms. Making people feel good about themselves and capturing their memories for them has always been a great form of empowerment to activate in a person. It is something I am adamant on doing.
I also enjoy the use of analog photography because there's an unfathomable, indescribable quality to film photography that is unique in the way it makes you feel, the emotions it evokes, and the memories it can ignite.
I photograph with the intention of responding to document a section of what I find inspiring. I want my art to reflect my view of the world and be able to bring to the table something memorable. Photography is what drives my life as a form of communication. Art is all I know.
